Aldi sudah lelah ditanya, “Kapan nikah?” oleh ibu dan tante-tantenya setiap kali pulang kampung. Akhirnya, dia menyerah dan coba aplikasi cari jodoh. “Santai, bro, teknologi kan udah canggih,” pikirnya. Setelah swipe kanan ratusan kali (dan ditolak ratusan kali juga), tiba-tiba muncul cewek bernama Melati. Cakep, senyumnya manis, bio-nya tertulis: Suka kopi, pecinta kucing, dan mencari pasangan serius. Aldi langsung semangat, karena kebetulan dia juga suka kopi (walaupun lebih sering kopi sachetan warung).
Chat pertama mereka asik, ngobrol ngalir sampai dini hari. Aldi merasa ini jodoh dari langit eh, maksudnya, dari algoritma. Setelah seminggu, mereka sepakat ketemu di kafe. Aldi sudah siap tampil maksimal; parfum tiga lapis, kemeja rapi, senyum terbaik. Saat Melati masuk, Aldi terdiam. Melati juga terdiam. Ternyata… mereka tetangga yang hanya dipisahkan dinding pagar, selama ini nggak pernah tegur sapa! Yang lebih parah, ibu mereka ternyata sahabat arisan. Dunia terasa berputar lebih kencang.
Setelah lima detik canggung, mereka ketawa ngakak bareng. “Ya ampun, ternyata selama ini aku nyari jodoh jauh-jauh, padahal ada di sebelah rumah?” Aldi tepuk jidat. Melati nyengir. Betapa lebih pekanya algoritma dari kita.” Dari situ, mereka malah jadi deket. Dua bulan kemudian, keluarga mereka heboh bukan main. Aldi tiba-tiba dilamar ibunya Melati buat jadi panitia arisan RT!
